Here are some meanings on how the Claddagh ring is worn.  When you wear the heart and crown facing outwards towards your fingertip, that means you're available. If you want to show that you're taken, then you would turn the Claddagh ring the opposite way so that it's facing towards you.  Also, the hand you wear the Claddagh ring on tells more about you, as to whether you're engaged or married. If you're wearing the ring on your left hand with the heart and crown turned outwards, that means you're engaged. When wearing the Claddagh ring on your left hand with heart and crown facing towards you, that would mean you're marriied.

A few celebrities who have been seen wearing the Claddagh ring are Noel Gallagher of the rock band Oasis, Julia Roberts which is rumored that Daniel Day Lewis had given her the Claddagh ring back in 1995, also Bono of the rock band U2 and Jennifer Aniston and Tate Donovan exchanged Claddagh rings on their first anniversary together.   A few celebrities who wore the Claddagh ring who are long gone but ne'er forgotten are Princess Grace of Monaco and John F.
